Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Beautiful Ballers websites, applications, commerce experiences, forms, communications and other services that link to it. Beautiful Ballers, LLC is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy.

Some services are provided by third parties under their own privacy notices. For example, checkout and payment providers may collect information directly from you to complete a transaction.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, phone number and login details.
  • Athlete, contributor and application information, such as sport, team, biography, social profiles, submitted responses and media.
  • Commerce information, such as products viewed, cart activity, order details, delivery information and transaction status. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by Beautiful Ballers.
  • Communications and support information, including messages, feedback and requests.
  • Device and usage information, such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring links and site interactions.
  • Consent, rights and publication records used to document permissions and protect participants.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, secure and improve our services.
  • Process applications, editorial submissions, interviews, purchases, returns and support requests.
  • Operate athlete profiles, stories, video, community and partnership workflows when the required permissions are in place.
  • Communicate about transactions, service updates and marketing choices.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • Meet legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate hosting, commerce, payments, fulfillment, communications, analytics, security and community services. We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so, when content is approved for publication, in a business transfer, or when required to protect rights, safety or comply with law.

We require service providers to use information for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards. Their independent services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, measurement, fraud prevention and, where enabled, advertising. Available privacy choices will be presented through our consent controls or the settings offered by the relevant service.

Browser controls can block or remove cookies, but some features may not work correctly without essential cookies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, and to limit or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and appeal a denied privacy request where local law provides that right.

To make a request, email info@beautifulballers.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. Transactional and service messages may still be sent when needed.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including to provide services, preserve publication and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Children

Our general services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through a general-audience experience. Athlete participation involving a minor requires an appropriate parent, guardian or authorized adult workflow before public use.

Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International use

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and revise its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate additional notice.
